Talibs ready for talks with Washington over withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan

Baku. 9 November. REPORT.AZ/ Taliban radical movement is ready for a dialogue with Washington over the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan, spokesman of the talibs' movement office Mohammad Sohail Shahin said.
Report informs citing TASS that Shahin spoke at the second session of the Moscow format of consultations on Afghanistan.
"Taliban is ready for talks with Americans over withdrawal of their troops from Afghanistan. We believe that direct talks with the government of Afghanistan will be possible only after the US forces withdrawal," Shahin said.
He also appreciated Russia's role in regulating the situation in the country.
"Moscow's role is important. We are pleased with the results of the meeting," he said.
