Taliban eye setting up special commission to revise constitution

The Taliban are going to create a special commission to revise the constitution in Afghanistan, a representative of the movement Suhail Shaheen said, Report informs referring to RIA Novosti.
“A special commission will be set up to revise the constitution, but there are no dates on this yet,” Shaheen said.
Earlier, Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said that the Afghan constitution would either be rewritten or amended. The Taliban insist that the constitution stipulate that Afghanistan is an Islamic state.
