Taliban execute 2 alleged ISIS militants

The Taliban have executed two people in Jalalabad, the administrative center of Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province, for their alleged ties with the ISIS terrorist organization, Report informs, citing the Afghan news agency Pajhwok.
Four people, including a local journalist, were killed in Nangarhar yesterday. Jalalabad residents are convinced that ISIS is responsible for the attack.
Nangarhar is considered a stronghold of forces related to the Islamic State – Khorasan, a branch of ISIS. Last week alone, at least 10 people were killed in the region in bombings and armed attacks by the group.
