Taliban car exploded in Afghanistan, 17 people killed

Fifteen Taliban militants and two civilians were killed, another 14 were injured in an explosion in the northern Afghan Jowzjan Province, Report informs citing Interfax.
According to the Hanif Rezaee, spokesperson for the 209th Shaheen Military Corps, the Taliban were blown up by their own explosives.
“The incident occurred the night before on the territory of the village of Yangi-Arik in the Aqcha district of the Jowzjan Province during transportation of explosives by the Taliban.
"An explosion occurred in the car, killing 15 militants and two civilians nearby. Another 14 people, including militants and civilians, were injured," Rezai said.
