Sweden will allocate 500 million euros to Ukraine for reconstruction, Ukraine's Presidential Spokesperson Serhii Nykyforov said on the air of the Rada TV channel, Report informs.
"Sweden has adopted a strategy of about half a billion euros to restore Ukraine for several years. This is the initial amount, and private business can also join the project," he noted.
He also added that Sweden plans to transfer pumps to Ukraine for areas affected by the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station.
