Sudan eliminates another coup attempt

The attempt of a new military coup is suppressed in Sudan, 68 officer- conspirators were detained, Report informs citing the RIA Novosti.
According to the TV channel "al-Arabiya", Sudan eliminated the coup attempt against the Transitional Military Council, 68 officers are under investigation.
Notably, on April 11 there was a military coup against the background of four-month popular protests in Sudan. President Omar al-Bashir was removed from power and later jailed. The Transitional Military Council, formed by the army, took power in its own hands and declared its intention to transfer the leadership to the elected authorities within two years.
