Strong earthquake off Norwegian coasts

Baku. 9 November. REPORT.AZ/ A strong earthquake has hit by a Norwegian volcanic island called Jan Mayen in the Arctic Ocean, measuring 6.8 on the Richter Scale, Report informs citing Gazeta.Ru.
According to US Geological Service (USGS), the tremors occurred at 05.49 Baku time. Its epicentre was in a remote area of the ocean around 253 miles east of Ittoqqortoormitt in Greeland.
No casualties or destructions are reported yet.
