Spain’s coronavirus death toll exceeds 15,000

Another 683 people died of coronavirus in Spain in the last day, Report says, citing the Health Ministry of the country.

Thus, the number of pandemic victims reached 15,238.

Moreover, the number of confirmed cases increased by 5,756, bringing a total number to 152,446.

Notably, the day before, the total number of dead was 14,555.

Notably, the coronavirus infection began to spread in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December last year. 209 states and regions have already reported on confirmed cases.

The number of people infected with coronavirus globally has so far exceeded 1 523 000, 332 800 of those recovered, while 88 956 died.

The World Health Organization (WHO) named the infection COVID-19 on February 11. On March 11, the organization declared the coronavirus a pandemic.
