South Korea plans to send $1.1 million worth of gas masks and filters to Ukraine as the next batch of aid, Yonhap agency reported on Thursday, referring to the Ministry of Defense.

Report informs citing TASS that, according to a representative of the military department, the next - the third - batch of aid will be supplied with items necessary for radiation, chemical, and biological protection. According to the agency, the gas masks will arrive next month.

Earlier, Seoul provided Kyiv with non-lethal military items, such as helmets, body armor, and medicines. Ukraine has repeatedly appealed to South Korea with a request to supply lethal weapons, but they indicated that it was hard to implement.
