South Korea has confirmed 31 new cases of coronavirus infection, taking the total number of infected people to 82, RIA Novosti reports, citing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention under South Korea's Ministry of Health.
Thirty new cases have been confirmed in the province of Gyeongsangbuk-do and the city of Daegu, while one is from the capital Seoul.
Twenty-three new patients attended the same church and had close contact with 31 infected. Two people contracted the virus in a hospital. The infection source of five more people is yet unclear.
