Slovenia estimates damage from flood to exceed 500M euros

Flood damage due to heavy rains in the Republic of Slovenia will exceed 500 million euros, Prime Minister Robert Golob said at the end of the meeting of the Slovenian National Security Council in an expanded format, Report informs referring to TASS.
"Slovenia is facing the biggest natural disaster in its recent history. The damage is unimaginable. It will definitely exceed 500 million euros," said Golob.
According to the prime minister, the municipality of Črna na Koroškem in northern Slovenia is "still cut off" from the rest of the country. The authorities of the republic decided to deliver essential items and equipment to the settlement by air.
