Ship with 18 passengers on board sinks off Greek coast

A vessel with 18 people on board has sunk near the Milos island in the Aegean Sea, the Greek public television ERT reports.
Report informs, citing TASS, that the accident occurred 16 miles northwest of Milos, with the wind magnitude 4-5 by the Beaufort scale.
Three patrol boats of the Coast Guard, a Greek navy ship, an airforce helicopter were dispatched to the site. Vessels sailing in the proximity of the area also conduct search operations.
It is yet unknown whether the drowned vessel was a yacht or a cruise ship.
The Proto Tema reports that the 28-meter yacht sailing under the UK flag sank with 17 people on board.
