Steve Job's widow, philanthropist Lauren Powell Jobs, is not going to leave a billion-dollar fortune to her children after her passing.

"I'm not interested in multiplying a fortune from generation to generation, and my kids know that," she told The New York Times.

"My husband did not want it. If I live long enough, everything will wrap up on me," Lauren Powell said.

According to her, the situation, when a group of people controls so much money, is 'incorrect and unfair.'

"We were witnesses of such things from examples such as Rockefellers, Carnegies, Mellons, and Fords families. Such generations can cause a serious threat to society. It shouldn't be like that."

Steve Job's widow, whose husband passed away from pancreatic cancer in October 2011 at the age of 56, was left with three kids. The New York Times estimates her fortune at $27,5 billion.
