Serbia's parliament extends state of emergency

The Serbian parliament has decided to prolong the state of emergency until February 8 to prevent a new type of coronavirus infection.
Eighty-three deputies voted in favor of the extension of the state of emergency, while 25 deputies voted against it.
The epidemiological situation in Serbia has deteriorated in recent days, and the country has recorded a British COVID-19 strain.
