Ukraine needs continued support from the West, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said, Report informs.
He made the remark at a press conference with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos.
The chancellor noted that Germany will continue to help, and, at the same time, hopes for solidarity in the European Union: "We must provide military assistance to Ukraine. Germany's aid to Ukraine so far has amounted to 28 billion euros. As you know, Germany allocated a budget of more than 7 billion euros this year. My position is that we should continue the support as much as necessary, and this applies not only to Germany but to the entire European Union.
