Up to 150 members of the Saudi royal family, including Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, got infected with coronavirus, Report says citing CNN Turk.

They are believed to contract the virus in Europe as thousands of royals travel European countries.

King Salman, 84, has secluded himself for his safety in an island palace near the city of Jeddah on the Red Sea. His son has also retreated with many of his ministers to the remote site on the same coast.

Saudi Arabia has more than 2,900 confirmed cases of the virus, including 41 deaths.
