Zakharova said that countries that send weapons and fighters to Ukraine bear responsibility:
"We have informed (them) about it through our embassies. Our diplomats have openly stated our position. "
Zakharova also claimed that the West was pursuing a discrimination policy against the Kremlin.
"The West had many opportunities to stop the policy of discrimination against us. But they did not want to use them. We will not agree with this policy of the West. We took a soft policy path at first, but then moved on to tougher rhetoric. Because the West did not understand us," she said.
On February 27, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the establishment of a foreign territorial defense legion in the country. He then decided to introduce a visa-free regime for those who come to the country from abroad to take part in military operations.
