Russia records highest COVID mortality since March 31

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 8,373 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.
The total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 5,026,168.
Currently, 264,478 Russians are undergoing treatment to beat the viral disease.
To date, a total of 119,600 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 406 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 4,642,090.
More than 168.5 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 3.5 million lives, though unable to cope with 150.1 million patients, who managed to recover.
