Russia has extended the ban on night flights to Israel until February 11, Report informs via TASS.
"After analyzing the situation in the Middle East, Rosaviatsia extended for another month, until February 11, 2025, the previously issued recommendations for flights from Russian airports to Israeli airports for Russian air transport operators - such flights are prohibited from 01:00 (02:00 Baku time) to 07:00 Moscow time (08:00 Baku time)," reads the statement.
The decision to operate flights to Israel at other times, from 07:00 (08:00 Baku time) to 01:00 Moscow time (02:00 Baku time), should be made by Russian companies taking into account recommendations outlined in the ICAO manual on risk factor assessment for civil aircraft flights over and near conflict zones, Rosaviatsia clarified.
The corresponding recommendations for airlines were introduced on November 11 and have been extended twice since then.
