Raya Nazaryan elected as speaker of Bulgaria's Parliament

Raya Nazaryan, a lawyer of Armenian descent, has been elected as the Speaker of the 50th National Assembly of Bulgaria.
Report informs via Radio Bulgaria that the vote, which took place on June 20, saw 131 deputies vote in favor of Nazaryan's nomination, while 66 voted against and 39 abstained.
