Doha hopes that the agreement on the exchange of prisoners reached through the mediation of the Qatari authorities will allow the US and Iran to resume negotiations on the restoration of the nuclear deal, Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman al-Thani.
"We have become a key broker between Iran and the US in a prisoner exchange agreement that we hope will lead to a broader dialogue on the nuclear deal," he said.
