Putin vows to strengthen Russia's nuclear triad as global deterrent

Russia plans to continue developing its nuclear triad, as it serves as a guarantee of strategic deterrence and maintains the global balance of power, according to President Vladimir Putin.
According to Report, which cites TASS, speaking at a meeting with military academy graduates in the Kremlin, Putin emphasized the importance of the nuclear triad in Russia's defense strategy.
"Our plans include the further development of the nuclear triad as a guarantee of strategic deterrence and global power balance," he stated.
