Putin: US aggressively expanding geography of NATO enlargement

The US is destroying the architecture of strategic stability in the world that has been built up over decades, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a video message to the participants of the meeting of the defense ministers of the SCO and CIS member states.

"The United States and its satellites are betting on the force factor, they have actually destroyed the architecture of strategic stability that has been created for decades, and are aggressively expanding the geography of NATO enlargement," he said.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that NATO expansion is the main driving motive of the West in relation to all countries of the world.
