Powerful earthquake jolts Greece

An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 struck Crete, Greece on Monday, Report informs, citing Athens Institute of Geodynamics.
Per the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the earthquake was of 6.5 magnitude.
There were no immediate reports of deaths, injuries and destruction as a result of underground shocks.
