Polish authorities are anticipating a rise in illegal migrants at the Belarusian border due to the escalating situation in the Middle East, Minister of National Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz told journalists, Report informs.
The minister noted, “Yes, there is a possibility that this will increase the pressure on the border, we are ready for it,” as reported by the PAP agency.
In response to a correspondent’s question about the potential migration wave, Kosiniak-Kamysz assured that his administration is closely monitoring the situation.
