Poland, US sign $4 billion military financing agreement

Poland and the United States have signed a $4 billion agreement in Warsaw under the Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program.

According to Report, citing Polish media, the funds will be used to purchase weapons and military equipment from the United States.

The agreement was signed by Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Finance and Economy Minister Andrzej Domański and US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Thomas DiNanno.

Kosiniak-Kamysz said this was Poland's sixth loan agreement under the Foreign Military Financing program for the purchase of US weapons.

DiNanno also confirmed that the new financing package is worth $4 billion.
