Service dogs will be used in Poland to identify carriers of coronavirus infection, Report informs with reference to the Polish media.

For the first time in Poland, tracking dogs, along with guides, are starting an eight-week course to learn how to identify COVID-19 patients at airports.

Scientists from the University of Wroclaw supervise the training. The animals will be trained using biomaterials taken from sick and healthy people and those vaccinated and recovered from the coronavirus.

The first group included Labrador dogs and one English Cocker Spaniel.
