Poland is starting to urgently reform its army, Polish President Andrzej Duda said, Report informs, referring to PAP.
He said it is necessary to strengthen the defense capabilities of the army against the backlash of the conflict in Ukraine.
According to the president, the command and control system of the army should be changed as part of this process.
Duda said that the changes are carried out due to the need to standardize the command system of the country's armed forces.
The reforms include the establishment of a Joint Forces Command and the restructuring of the leadership of military units.
