Defense spending in Poland has almost quadrupled over the eight years that Jaroslaw Kaczynski’s Law and Justice party has been in power, and the size of the armed forces has almost doubled, Report informs referring to TASS.
“Spending on the army: 2015 - 37.5 billion zlotys ($9.3 billion), 2023 - 137.18 billion zlotys ($34 billion),” Michal Dworczyk, a member of the Republic’s Council of Ministers, wrote on the X social network.
