Podolyak: World is to increasingly attack Russia with sanctions

The world community is shocked by what Russia has started in the center of Europe, attacking a large country. Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Ukrainian presidential administration, said in an interview with Report's Eastern European bureau.

According to him, for a long time, the world community reacted passively to Russia's actions in Ukraine, especially during the first week of the war.

"Later, of course, the reaction became more aggressive, and today it is clear that the world will increasingly attack Russia with sanctions," Podolyak said.

"For its turn, Russia, realizing that it has nothing to lose, since there are recorded facts of war crimes that are unambiguous from the point of view of the legal assessment of these events, will continue to escalate the war, violating all the rules and customs of its conduct," the adviser to the head the administration of the president of Ukraine said.
