British Finance Minister Philip Hammond has announced his resignation, Report informs citing the citing Газета.Ru.
"I have just handed in my resignation," Hammond tweeted.
It is noted that the resignation is dated July 23.
Hammond previously served as Minister of Defense, as well as heads of the Defense Ministry and the Ministry of Transport.
