Peru bus fire: 20 burned to death

At least 20 people were killed and about a dozen were injured Sunday night in a bus fire at a Peruvian transport terminal, Report informs citing the El Comercio.

A number of victims died trapped on the second level of the interprovincial bus in the capital Lima, firefighters said, and passersby described scenes of panic and cries of terror.

According to the newspaper, only seven people were able to get out of the burning bus. After the incident, they were hospitalized.

According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was an "electrical fault".
