The Pentagon announced the allocation of 1.5 billion US dollars for the construction of a section of the wall on the border with Mexico, part of the funds will be allocated from the budget of programs that include a nuclear Intercontinental ballistic missile Minuteman III and space tests, Report informs citing Gazeta.Ru.

The Washington Post writes that it has gained access to an internal document of the US defense Ministry, which contains a detailed plan of how the Pentagon will finance the construction of the border wall, for which officials have allocated 1.5 billion us dollars. They are planned to be spent on the construction of a wall length of about 80 miles (128 km).

The document does not specify how much money will come from each program, however indicates that they are at least listed. In particular, it is a ballistic missile program Minuteman III, which, according to the Pentagon, requires updating the aging ground infrastructure. The Pentagon also intends to allocate money from the program of the onboard system of long-range radar detection and control (AWACS). Another part of the funds will go from the money intended for space tests involving DARPA.

The Pentagon will also take money from two funds that finance foreign military emergency operations. This money is divided between the fund, which supportы the coalition forces, and the fund that helps the Afghan military
