Pentagon: Biden’s statement won’t affect US-Turkey military ties

The recent statement by Joe Biden about the so-called ‘Armenian genocide’ shouldn’t affect military relations between the US and Turkey, Pentagon press secretary John Kirby told reporters, Report informs referring to TASS.
“We don’t anticipate any change in the military relationship with Turkey,” he noted.
The spokesperson stressed that Turkey remains a vital NATO ally and noted also that Biden’s announcement will not impact joint operations in Syria.
Kirby also expressed hope that US-Turkish military ties will only grow stronger.
