Pakistan may recognize the government of the Taliban grouping in Afghanistan, Pakistan's Minister of Information and Radio Broadcasting, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, said.
According to him, the country may do so after consultations with regional countries and world powers.
"Pakistan's stance on Afghanistan is well known and has not changed. We expect the Taliban to respect the supremacy of law and basic human rights," the minister said.
