Over 250,000 tons of food delivered to Gaza since October 2023

At least 252,600 tons of food have been delivered to the Gaza Strip since the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Report informs via the Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT).

According to the information, at least 19,448 trucks carrying 363,700 tons of international humanitarian aid have entered the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. Of these, 11,954 trucks carried 252,600 tons of food, 1,409 trucks carried 28,100 tons of water, 2,832 trucks carried 40,700 tons of equipment for temporary accommodation, 1,705 trucks carried 19,800 tons of medical supplies, as well as 1,539 trucks carried more than 22,500 tons of mixed cargo.

According to COGAT, the biggest portion of aid came from the UAE, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and the UN - the World Food Program and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA)
