The number of COVID infection cases detected in the world has exceeded 150 million, according to Johns Hopkins University, which calculates information from international organizations, federal and local authorities, Report informs referring to TASS.
There are now 150,530,783 infected people in the world, 3,165,978 people have died and 87,570,816 COVID patients have recovered.
The biggest number of infections was detected in the US – 32,288,904 cases, of them 575,193 deaths. India ranks second with 18,762,976 infections and 208,330 deaths. These countries are followed by Brazil, where 14,590,678 citizens were infected and 401,186 died.
