Oslo authorities have decided to tighten measures to combat the spread of coronavirus in the capital after all areas of the city are classified as "red," which means the highest level of reach of the virus in society, Report says, citing Dagens Nyheter.

The spread of coronavirus infection in the Norwegian capital is increasing. So, in the last three weeks in Oslo, the number of weekly registered cases of coronavirus infection has risen from 113 people to 306. Now, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health colored red the entire city's entire area on the interactive map.

On September 21, the capital authorities decided to take stricter measures to combat the spread of the virus. Residents of the capital are recommended to wear personal protective equipment for the oral cavity and respiratory organs when traveling on public transport and in all places where it is impossible to maintain social distance, such as shopping centers and grocery stores.
