The European Union (EU) is not powerful enough for Russia to take it seriously, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said, Report informs via Die Presse.
“It’s not a matter of trust, our problem is a lack of strength. We Europeans are not strong enough for the Russians to take us seriously. This is a game about power,” said the Hungarian prime minister.
According to Orban, the European Union must take a more confident position, show strength and prove that it is able to understand the interests of both sides.
“Only then will it be possible to move on to the stage of searching for some kind of agreement,” he added.
