Norway to provide Moldova with grant to purchase gas

Norway will provide Moldova with a grant of €34 million to purchase gas, Report informs via Moldovan media.

The money will be used to purchase gas and replenish reserves, as well as to diversify sources of energy supplies.

Moldova and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development last year signed a loan agreement of €300 million for the implementation of the Security of Natural Gas Supply project.
