Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he has ordered the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to carry out strikes on targets in the Dahiyeh area in southern Beirut.
According to Report, Netanyahu said in a post on X that the decision was made in response to "repeated and ongoing violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon by the terrorist organization Hezbollah, as well as attacks against Israeli cities and civilians."
"I have instructed the Israel Defense Forces and Defense Minister Israel Katz to strike terrorist targets in the Dahiyeh area in Beirut," Netanyahu stated.
