The security forces of Afghanistan freed 28 people from the prison of the Taliban terrorist movement in southern Afghanistan, Report reports citing RIA Novosti.
"As part of a special operation of commando forces in the province of Zabul, 28 prisoners were released, 16 of them civilians and 12 members of the security forces," the Pazhvak news agency reported, citing a statement issued by the Interior Ministry.
According to the statement, two Taliban militants were eliminated as a result of crossfire between them and the security forces.
