Many students are feared dead after a three-storey building containing a primary school collapsed while they were in their top-floor classrooms.
It is feared that dozens of people are buried and trapped as some reports said nearly 100 children were inside when then the disaster struck.
The building in Lagos, Nigeria, caved in at about 10am local time on Wednesday, according to reports.
Prince Adams, a witness who lives near the building at Itafaji on Lagos Island, said at least ten children had been pulled from the rubble and rescuers were desperately trying to find others who were trapped.
