NATO is considering constructing an extra building and re-organizing its current office space as it struggles to find room for newcomer Finland and any potential future members, Report informs referring to Euractiv.
The Western military alliances’ building in Brussels, inaugurated in 2018, is becoming too small to accommodate future members’ delegations, according to four NATO diplomats who spoke to EURACTIV on the condition of anonymity.
“Finland’s move into NATO’s headquarters will be completed in the coming weeks and months,” one NATO official confirmed, adding that would also be the case for Sweden “once they join NATO as full members”.
