NATO, EU condemn terrorist attack in Moscow

NATO condemned the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Report informs, referring to the alliance.

The European Union also expressed its condolences to Russia over the incident.

Regarding to the incident, President of the European Council, Charles Michel, wrote on his X page: “I condemn the horrific terrorist attack in Moscow. Loss of innocent lives anywhere is a human tragedy and my condolences are with the victims and their families”.

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, called on the international community to stand in solidarity against terrorism and wrote: "I condemn in the strongest terms the heinous attack perpetrated outside Moscow last night. Terrorism has targeted again defenseless people. The international community must remain firmly united against the scourge of terrorism."

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, also condemned the terrorist act, saying,“I strongly condemn the terrorist attack against civilians in the Crocus City Hall in Moscow claimed by the Islamic State.My thoughts are with the victims and their families during this tragic time."

As reported, a terrorist attack, which occurred last evening at the Crocus City Hall center in Moscow, tragically resulted in 150 fatalities. Russian authorities have detained 11 individuals in relation to the attack.
