NATO begins withdrawing troops from Afghanistan

NATO began on Thursday a coordinated and orderly withdrawal from Afghanistan of its forces participating in Operation Resolute Support, a source at the headquarters of the alliance in Brussels told TASS, Report informs.
"The withdrawal of the military of the NATO countries has begun, it is taking place in an organized and coordinated manner," the agency's interlocutor said.
Currently, the NATO contingent in Afghanistan is over 10,000 people, and the alliance intends to complete their withdrawal in September.
