The work of the Moldovan-Romanian border crossing “Leuseni–Albita”, located on the route from Chisinau to Bucharest, has been interrupted due to technical problems in the database of the Romanian authorities, according to the press service of the Moldovan customs on the Telegram channel, Report informs.
“Currently, there is an increased flow of cars waiting to cross the Leuseni-Albita checkpoint. Due to technical problems in the database of the Romanian authorities, control activities at the Albita border crossing were interrupted,” the customs statement said.
Moldovan customs officials have advised travelers to choose alternative checkpoints until the situation at Leuseni-Albita is resolved.
