Moldova may announce partial mobilization

In case of a threat to the security of Moldova, the government may announce a partial mobilization, Moldovan Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatîi said on the air of the Chisinau TV channel PRO TV.

"A very thorough analysis is needed, and if necessary, partial mobilization will be carried out. The purpose of such mobilization will be to increase the ability of the republic's armed forces to respond to threats," the minister stressed.

Nosatii noted that the country plans to close its airspace against the backdrop of Russian missile strikes on Ukraine.
