Mexico suggests recognizing all WHO-approved vaccines on G20 level

Mexican authorities have called on other countries of G20 to stop politicizing issues related to vaccines and recognize all drugs against coronavirus approved by the World Health Organization, Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said, Report informs, citing TASS.

"On the instruction of the country's president, we have urged the G20 member-states to recognize all vaccines approved by the World Health Organization without engaging in geopolitics in the issue of vaccines. If the WHO recognizes and approves the vaccine, all countries must do the same," he said at a press conference.

According to Mexican authorities, the European Union, the United States, and other countries should also recognize the vaccines produced in the developing countries if such vaccines received the approval of the World Health Organization.
