Mariupol is European Aleppo, Borrell says

The ruined Ukrainian city of Mariupol is the European Aleppo, EU top diplomat Josep Borrell tweeted, according to Report.

"Mariupol is the European Aleppo. A city destroyed to the ground. With thousands of civilian casualties. We will do our best to end this war as soon as possible," he said.

Borrell also stressed that the EU will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine.
